OUR PASTOR

 

Pastor Byron Wilson was born October 30, 1964 in Darlington County.  He is the eighth of eleven children to his parents, Bernice and Mary Alice Wilson of Hartsville, South Carolina.  He is united in marriage to the former Valerie Tisdale of Hampton, Virginia.  They are the proud parents of one son, Bryon L. Wilson, II.

 

Pastor Wilson attended the Jerusalem Baptist Church in Hartsville, South Carolina.  After accepting Christ as his Savior, he joins the Round-O Baptist in Darlington, South Carolina.  On November 27, 1983 he received his Certificate of License to preach from Round-O Baptist Church and later on November 16, 1986, he received his Certificate of Ordination also from Round-O Baptist Church.

 

Pastor Wilson was educated in the public schools of Darlington County.  He is a 1982 graduate of Butler High School in Hartsville, South Carolina.  In 1988 he continued his studies when he enrolled at Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992.  In 1999 he enrolled in Virginia Union University’s Samuel Proctor School of Theology where he received the Master of Divinity degree in 2002.

 

Pastor Wilson is employed as a Residential Director with the Darlington County Disabilities and Special Need Board in Hartsville, South Carolina.  He also served as a past Secretary, Vice President and President of the Pee Dee Baptist Sunday Convention and on a number of civic and religious affiliations.  But most of all Pastor Wilson loves The Lord, Family, and the Church.

OUR CHURCH VISION

 

Create and facilitate an active spiritual network, consisting predominately of faith believing Christians, productively impact the community of believers in Eutawville, S.C. and surrounding area. By developing ministries that meets the needs of the community being in partnership with the Holy Spirit in order to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ to the glory of God.
